The best password manager…

… ever.

Secure and easy

I didn’t know what I was getting myself into but with so many passwords I needed some application to keep tabs and boy do Dashlane delivers. I recently bought premium so I could go in sync between my mac and pc and it’s working beautifully! The app is free so get it!

no refund policy is a ripoff

dont sign up for anything extended .Their help centre is lousy. They provide no live support when you have any problems with the app.I was foolish enough to buy the five year plan.Thery won’t provide any refund at all.even when the app is still not working. and yet Im stuck with junk app for 5 years .Its horrible cusdtomer service.,and thier no refund policy is a joke they lose all credibility.

Everyone should have it!

I recommended Dashlane to EVERYONE (especially luddite friends and family). It’s fabulously helpful in keeping track of passwords, documents, receipts etc. A lifesaver when traveling and at home. Usable from multiple devices. What’s not to like.

wow

it is very secure and very good if you have something secret!

Excellent

I have used Dashlane on both the MAC and PC platforms for over a year. It is 100% integrated and keeps my information safe and secure. It will automatically log you in to a site IF you want it to or not. How much or little you rely on it is completely up to you. Very pleased.

48 hours and $62 later ...

DELETED! And, thanks iTunes for not accepting my request to give me back my money! That’s OK … As long as you download this and use it on one device at a time and do some manual work to export and import to your other devices, go ahead and enjoy! But, when you get to your office with heavy dury firewalls and other security so your corporate computers don’t get hack, FORGET about being able to use this App! It requires you to beg your IT department to open a number of ports in order for this software to communicate with Dashlane servers to sync your passwords! You can’t even use an extension with any browser (Safari, IE, Chrome and etc) to save or fill up IDs / Passwords! It’s just not possible. So …. do NOT pay for subscription until you’re 100% sure it works! As of not, it does NOT! It’s useless! FWIW .. LastPass has no such dramas and guess what …. they don’t expect you to pay almost the same amount as Netflix, Hulu and other streaming services!

Doesn’t work

Downloaded it, it managed to import 3 of my 300+ passwords from Safari. Apparently no way of getting it to do any more. It wouldn’t ask me if I wanted to save passwords when I visited sites so I uninstalled it. Total waste of time.

Unreliable

As for the application for storing you most precious information, Dashalne is very unreliable. After first launch and registration, main application windows just won’t open. Saving personal information in browser freezes and is never completed. I woudln’t use it for text editing, let alone for passwords. Needs work - and lots of it.

Perfect password manager

I actively use Dashlane for half a year already and it works amazingly good for me. Mac and iPhone apps got even better with recent updates. Only downside is not so good looking chrome extension.

Better

Nice new app icon, even though the browser extension is still pretty ugly. With that cool UI for the desktop app I think you can do better there!

Use of Dashlane

I am really excited about using Dashlane for storing Passwords, ID’s, Secure Notes, Etc. It is an awesome app.

Very frustrating App and “support"

I tried to use it on OS x El Capitan with a Chrome V51., Safari V9.1.2 and Firefox V43 browsers. I ended up having to delete the Firefox browser, spend two days trying to figure why every time I entered a login in and tried to save it to Dashlane it would give me an error message that I couldn’t use it because I had already downloaded a version from the apple store. I had to delete the extension from chrome, delete my firefox browser and it took many hours to try and figure out how to delete Dashlane from the computer. You can not drag it to trash from the application folder, you can not long-hold it from the launch pad. You have to use the finder to select it then ask to move it to trash and enter your MAC password. VERY BAD IMPLEMENTATION and VERY BAD TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Time Saver

Time saver and very reliable!

You didn’t know you needed it until you have it

One of those apps you don’t realize you need until you have it. It makes life so, so much easier. EVERYTHING requires an account and therefore a password. I remember one complex password and leave the rest to the magic of Dashlane.

Love it - but then there are the updates

I get sick of trying to keep up with all the updates that are required as versions of the browsers change. Not sure why that is a problem - why it stops working after every browser update. Maybe it is literally impossible to fix this problem and keep it secure which is more important. Anyway, while it’s a pain, I wouldn’t stop using it just because of it. It is a great app.

Great app, I am in love!

I never take time to rate apps, this is my first one. But after using this app for a few weeks, this is worthy. Download it, you will love it.

rebooting...

This is highly rated by a lot of sources. I have used it for about 2 years and paid extra to be a Premier user. It stores passwords and creates passwords very well. It will log into websites about 70% of the time which I do not consider acceptable. Their customer service is very responsive but not effective in fixing my problem. I have done a lot of rebooting, restarting browsers, disabling Dashlane, enabling Dashlane, reloading Dashlane extensions, etc, etc, etc. I will not be renewing my Premier and am searching for a better pasword manager.

Hung up and would not install

I am running OS X 10.11.6 and Safari 9.1.2 on a late 2014 iMac. I started to install Dashlane and set the password, fed it the autofill information, and allowed it to pull the passwords from Safari. I got to the point where Dashlane was showing me that I had given it all of the autofill informtion it needed. But it hung up there and I was unable to move forward or back. There was no help line or anything that I could get to. So I Googled “uninstall Dashlane” and followed their instructions to uninstall, which involves removing the extension from whatever browser(s) you’ve added it to, removing Dashlane from thre App folder, and restarting. I am back to square zero on password managers.

Complete POC

Hard to believe that anyone can find value in this poorly written application. Not only will it drive you crazy with its continuous popups, it does not offer an easy way to uninstall. 2 thumbs down!
