Dashlane - Password Manager App Reviews

166 Customer Reviews:

After years of trying to remember passwords -traveling, plugging into cloud servers from the USA to Europe, I finally took action on my security. This app is very easy to use, the interface is clean and seeing my pathetic self-generated “family birthdate” type passwords replaced by robust protection gives me added peace of mind. However, what is just as important to me is the time it saves me. I run a number of websites and have dozens of email addresses, now everything is organized and efficiently streamlined. I was so happy with my expereince, that I bought the 3 year plan just a few days into my trial. I just came back from Chile and knowing that my information was as protected as possible, whether logging in from cafe’s or mountaintops. well, that is worth every penny I wisely invested in Dashlane. I appreciate this app and what it does for me. Thank you! P.S. This is not a sponsored review, This is a real guy who is very grateful!

Awesome but...

Dashlane is almost perfect. Lastpass is also almost perfect and free!

Great app, only annoyance is the insurmountable prompting to write a review, kinda like someone constantly asking you: “Do you love me? huh? do ya? do ya? huh, do you love me?"

A great app that goes with you where you go. I have all my vulnerable data stored with Dashlane, and love the ease of use. Fingerprint intergration with the newer iPhones make this app even easier to use! I have been with Dashlane from early on, and love that they continue to provide an updated, and stable product. Well done!

So Easy

Love this app, nothing out there easier than Dashlane. Love that all my devices sync and everything is so easy.

It’s great but if you’re going to annoy me with a popup to rate you so frequently and not give me a “no thanks” option then this is the forced review I will leave. The three options they provide you and keep poppping up no matter what “Remind me Later | Send Feedback | Rate”

Having Dashlane has changed the Internet for me. I can quickly and easily check to see if a credit card charge or refund has been applied, or to see if auto deposits or withdrawals have been executed as planned. It quickly and reliably inserts passwords and when you have two accounts on the same site (like a bank) it asks you which account you are using. There was an unfortunate day and a half when Firefox made a change that prevented Dsashlane from working but the tech staff at Dashlane were quick to respond and I hope that this does not happen again. Also the Premium account sharing across your other devices does not work the same way. The gnomes at Apple prevent Dashlane from inserting things into another app (like a browser or bank application) and so you must invoke the site from within Dashlane, a bit unusual, and not what I was expecting. As Apple moves foreward possibly the fully automatic or fingerprint authorized pathway will be opened, but not yet.

I have been using a competing product for a number of years but it has not kept up with the Apple environment and was becoming awkward to use especially with iOS. I was reluctant to switch as I could not export my password data but it is very easy to bring Dashlane on line gradually by running the previous app side by side with Dashlane. I have also printed off all my data from the previous app and stored the html as a secure note. I find Dashlane much easier to use and better integrated with Safari on OSX and iOS. I like its ability to store logins by categories, which you can customize to suit. Its Safari menu icon is very unobtrusive because it is not a menu bar.

it works but I’ve had to re-install the app and the browser plug-ins multiple times. I only wrote this review because I’m tired of the app pestering me.

Awesome app for storing passwords

Flawless design, tons of features, and an offline mode. Best cross-platform password manager in my opinion, solid 5 stars!

I have so many websites that use passwords I was willing to jump through hoops to find something that would help. I have been using Dashlane for over a year and am very happy with how easy it is to set up and how well it works with my iMac, IPhone and MacBook. Terrific for filling in name and addresses too. Has to be my favorite productivity app.

Was using 1Password but was never able to sync between my windows, mac, mobile devices.. This one was quick and easy to setup and works across all my devices

DaveFromPeg v3.5.2 · 10 years ago

I’ve been using it for around a year now and I have no complaints. It keeps my passwords synced between my devices, and warns me of unsafe passwords or when security breaches occur, but most importantly its fast and easy.

Smokey212 v3.5.2 · 10 years ago

I started using the free version and just before the 30 days were over, I purchased the premium edition. I love this app. The only suggestion is to somehow autofill apps on my mobile directly. AT the moment I have to copy & paste… otherwise all else is great. Sept 2015 **** I stil use this app the most, its my favourite by far.. makes my quality of life so much better..

Dashlane, although expensive, is a good app for storing and sharing passwords. I particularly like the synch features between devices. However, customer support is useless, failiing in all ways to help the customer with bugs or minor issues. Don’t like what they have to offer? They suggest you uninstall the app. It’s like texting with a semi-sentient bot on some strange web site.

I have Dashlane on all my devices and it’s great. Updates and synchs across the devices and generates strong passwords that I don’t have to remember or write down

Joeyspot v3.5.4 · 10 years ago

Probably one of the top 5 most productive applications I’ve ever used (Instant love right here!). Dashlane is definitely a time saver, it fills my web accounts effectively and the apps interface is clean looking and it has just enough useful options shown without looking too cluttered. It so simple to use, yet so effective! Dashlane fully deserves five stars.
