Not secure, major flaws and bad cutomer service
Dashlane at first seemed like it was a great app. I purchased the premium version to sync across all my devices. Unfortunately, after I had paid for it and installed it in numerous places I found out that it it often randomly replaced passwords or didn’t activate to replace passwords in certain programs. Also, when I had issues with the program and concerns about a potential security breach and contacted customer service they were extremely slow to respond and provided generic, unhelpful answers. In addition, Mac OS Sierra has been out for several weeks, but Dashlane still hasn’t figured out how to fully support their program in it. Dashlane had a lot of potential and I thought it was a keeper, but it turns out to be a flawed program with questionable security (which is a big concern given that they have all my passwords; still don’t know if my account has been hacked as I can’t get customer service to respond) and doesn’t work on Mac OS. Time to switch horses and try another program as I have lost my confidence that Dashlane is truly a secure way to store my passwords or that it works properly.
