Latest update is no good

First off, I’ve loved using this app to store my endless number of passwords. Since the last update (early March), it freezes, I can’t scroll within the app and it makes my mac book’s fan run at levels I never hear it run. I asked support and they said to uninstall and reinstall from their site. I no longer pay for the premium so I am afraid to lose all my saved passwords when I uninstall. Very frustrating.
